Both these signs have been painted with lettering enamels. The oval sign is raised off the surface using ball and cup fixings. The roses were painted on the pink background before the blue lettering was painted on. Then shading was added before finally brushing an outline in gold size, and then gold leafing it.

The Hair Shop sign also has a raised oval, It has been painted to look as it it has a bevelled frame to it. The bevelling was painted using metallic silver enamels. The blinds in the shop have had an oval panel painted on and then the telephone number was handpainted on.
